About High Spirit Flutes - Patagonia, Arizona  

Since 1990 High Spirits Flutes has been handcrafting Native American Style Flutes; also known as Native Flutes.  Our wood shop is located in the majestic mountains of southern Arizona, in the historic town of Patagonia.  Our mission is to connect others with the joy, creativity, and pleasure of playing the Native American Style Flute. As well as to contribute ongoing knowledge and support to the diverse, global, flute-playing community that we embrace wholeheartedly.

How can you find your perfect flute?

Take a flute straw from the small white paper bag near the flutes, place the pointy end into the head of the flute. To start, cover all 5 (or 6) holes with your fingers and blow gently.  Once you are able to get a sound you can lift your finger furthest from your mouth.  Practice moving between all holes covered and removing your bottom finger until you feel comfortable.  Next you can lift your bottom two fingers.  If you would like to try a different flute please use the same flute straw. The straw can be discarded after use.

Flute pricing is generally based on size, wood type, and the model.  Our flutes range from $100-$400.

What comes with a Flute?

The flute comes with a little packet containing a booklet on technique and instrument care AND a flute case.
