Are you interested in playing crystal singing bowls? Do you want to learn about how and why sound meditation works? Perhaps you are curious about the underlying patterns and interactions in music. Maybe you feel called to serve others through facilitating sound meditation.
Since 2020 the Ahimsa School of Sound Healing has been offering trainings to empower people to express themselves through sound and to support themselves and others in sound based meditation. Since the start we have always looked for ways to reduce the barriers of entry, further enhance our trainings, and expand what we have to offer to our students. With that in mind we are pleased to announce that in 2026 we are expanding our core faculty along with the number of trainings we offer.
Starting in April we will be launching a newly restructured curriculum which includes Playing Crystal Bowls (Beginner Level), The Science of Sound Meditation (Intermediate Level), Thinking Like a Musician (Intermediate Level), and Facilitating Sound Meditation (Advanced). Please note that there is an order to our trainings, students must start with our Playing Crystal Bowls training before moving on to either of our intermediate trainings. To take Facilitating Sound Meditation you must complete all three beginner and intermediate trainings OR be a graduate of our previous entry level course, Foundations in Vibration.
Regardless of your previous experience with instruments, music, and meditation, we are confident that our school is for you! Please explore our curriculum below and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. And remember, you deserve to feel good, sound can help!
